Matan Volach is a chef and social entrepreneur. He has professional training in both holistic and conventional culinary arts, and completed two years of a university business program before leaving to start his own company. Matan has over 18 years’ experience in various positions within the food, and health & wellness industries.
As a teenager, Matan lost his mother to a 3-year-long battle with cancer. Seeing the strongest woman in his life disappearing slowly before his eyes, Matan realized that health is not static. Since then, he has used his skills and passion to help drive others away from disease, and towards long-lasting health and happiness.
Matan’s interest in food began at a very young age, while cooking in his parents’ kitchen. After volunteering one summer in the kitchen of a five-star hotel, he became passionate about feeding people well. Seeing his mother suffer, he naturally became interested in the connection between food and health.
